I once asked my mother what she liked the most about me. She said “well, you just know stuff”. What? I was like, “Ok, I was hoping for something more profound. What do you mean?”. Then she explained that I just know how to do a lot of different things in life. So, after thinking about it for awhile, I said “ok, Mom, I’ll take that. Thank you”. My mom passed away last January and each time I think of this conversation I smile. I sure do miss her, and in her own way she traveled the world with me, always interested in my stories and looking up each location on her world map. In this blog I embrace my mom's unique complement and share some “stuff” I know about travel and life.
Note: Besides sharing some “stuff” I also share a lot of stories. I’ll start each story with this image, so if you tire of my stories, you can easily skip them. This is where I would usually write LOL. OK boomer.
